Juli) in Frankfurt am Main pr\u00e4sentiert MOTOREX zwei aufregende neue Schmier- und Pflegemittel f\u00fcr alle Arten von Fahrr\u00e4dern: Das biologisch abbaubare CHAINWAX erg\u00e4nzt als neuartiges Kettenwachs die Palette der hochwertigen \u00f6ligen Kettenschmierstoffe des Schweizer Premiumherstellers. F\u00fcr das perfekte Finish der immer angesagteren matten Oberfl\u00e4chen an Fahrr\u00e4dern stellt MOTOREX das neue Pflegespray BIKE MATT CARE vor. Es verleiht den modernen Bikes einen anhaltenden matten Schutzfilm auf Lack und Kunststoffen.

Mit MOTOREX CHAINWAX<\/strong> findet jetzt jede:r Biker:in ein Kettenschmiermittel, das wichtige Vorz\u00fcge vereint: Es l\u00e4sst sich einfach anwenden und haftet hervorragend auf der Kette \u2013 entsprechend lang h\u00e4lt die Wirkung an. Saubere Sache: biologisch abbaubar und ohne Verschmutzungen beim Auftragen und der Kettenpflege
<\/strong>Das Wachs aus nachwachsenden Rohstoffen ist zu mehr als 80 Prozent biologisch abbaubar und frei von fl\u00fcchtigen organischen Verbindungen (VOC). Es besitzt eine sehr gute Kriechf\u00e4higkeit und bietet hohen Verschleissschutz. Zudem hinterl\u00e4sst es keine \u00d6lflecken am Boden. Mit MOTOREX CHAINWAX geschmierte Ketten bleiben lange Zeit sauber \u2013 und lassen sich einfacher reinigen als bei \u00f6ligen Schmiermitteln. Hinzu kommt: Da deutlich weniger Staub und Schmutz anhaftet, kommen farbige Ketten besser und l\u00e4nger zur Geltung.

Neben seiner Langlebigkeit<\/strong> zeichnet sich das Kettenwachs durch einen trockenen Wachsfilm sowie antistatische und wasserabweisende Grundeigenschaften aus. Dank seiner Wachs-Wasser-Emulsionstechnologie l\u00e4sst es sich genauso einfach auftragen wie herk\u00f6mmliche Kettenschmierstoffe. Vor dem Erstauftrag sollten Biker:innen ihre mit \u00f6ligen Mitteln geschmierten Ketten und Kassetten gewissenhaft entfetten. Dazu eignet sich ideal BIKE CHAIN DEGREASER von MOTOREX.

Bei der Entwicklung von CHAINWAX<\/strong> testeten die Chemiker:innen von MOTOREX im schweizerischen Langenthal eine Basisformulierung aus nat\u00fcrlichen Wachsen und speziellen Additiven auf ihre Kriechf\u00e4higkeit. Dazu mischten sie den Kettenwachsemulsionen einen fluoreszierenden Marker bei. Dann durchlief eine damit gewachste Kette einen praxisnahen Testzyklus und wurde anschliessend zerlegt. Mit einer UV-Lichtquelle machten die Entwickler:innen die Benetzung der elementaren Schmierstellen sichtbar. So ermittelten sie die optimale Zusammensetzung der Emulsion im Hinblick auf die Kriechf\u00e4higkeit bzw. die ideale Viskosit\u00e4t. Schrittweise optimierten sie dann Eigenschaften wie Schmierleistung, Abschleuderverhalten, Schmutzanhaftung und Korrosionsschutz.

Nach den Labortests<\/strong> und ersten Anwendungen im hauseigenen Umfeld lud MOTOREX Kenner:innen und K\u00f6nner:innen aus der Bike-Szene zu Praxistests ein. So fuhr Lukas Fl\u00fcckiger, Leiter des Rennteams Bixs, mehr als 1.500 Kilometer mit der Testrezeptur und stellte bei der Verschleisskontrolle keine messbare Abnutzung der Kette fest. Nach jeder Reinigung und nach Regenfahrten behandelte er die Kette dabei neu mit CHAINWAX.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Auch das italienische Profirennradteam Corratec Vini-Fantini<\/strong> und weitere Eliterennfahrer:innen sowie Mitarbeiter:innen von DT Swiss steuerten ihre Erkenntnisse bei. Sie absolvierten l\u00e4ngere Speed-Distanzen und bew\u00e4ltigten mehrere Tausend H\u00f6henmeter. Ihr Feedback: Ob E-Bike, MTB, Rennrad oder Citybike \u2013 unisono best\u00e4tigten die Tester:innen f\u00fcr alle Anwendungen einen ruhigen, rundum geschmeidigen Kettenlauf bei hohem Schaltkomfort.<\/p>\n
