With the new cylinder kit Polini for Aprilia SXR 50 4T E5, the scooter 50 4T gains in acceleration, sprint and maximum speed, offering a more exciting and dynamic riding experience.
The cylinder body casting is made of aluminium, and the \u00d8 49 barrel is made of cast iron. This combination guarantees excellent heat dissipation and exceptional performance. Aluminium, in fact, helps to keep operating temperatures low and cast iron makes it stable in performance, preserving the engine life.
To obtain maximum efficiency,\u00a0it is recommended\u00a0to follow these assembly steps:<\/strong>

ECM WITH POLINI VALVE SPRINGS FOR APRILIA SXR 50 4T E5<\/strong><\/p>\n

To make any type of set up, replacing the control unit is essential. The\u00a0ECM with<\/strong>\u00a0Polini Valve Springs for Aprilia SXR 50 4T E5<\/strong>\u00a0has been studied and developed by Polini racing department after numerous tests and trials. The upgrade of the Polini control unit allows the choice between three different maps, offering the possibility of further personalizing your vehicle. The addition of the valve springs inside the package allows the limiter to reach up to 10.000 rpm, with a concrete result in speed and an increase in performance ensuring a more dynamic and fluid ride. Depending on the assembly steps of the scooter, it is important to match the specific map developed by Polini.

Map 1 – <\/strong>This is the simplest assembly step, as it is sufficient to remove the original control unit and connect the Polini ECM, as it is plug & play and easy to mount. Its replacement allows an increase in the rpm limiter with the engine going from 7.500 to 8.600. With this map it is recommended to combine the Polini variator (241.737), maintaining the original Piaggio engine. Thanks to map 1 the odometer goes from 45 km\/h to 50\/53 km\/h.

Map 2 – <\/strong>With the second map we get to the heart of customization, and it takes your vehicle to a higher level. It is essential to rely on a professional as you work directly on the engine. It is important to know that it is necessary to change the original engine valve springs with Polini ones (already included in the control unit package), which allow the engine limiter to be brought to 10.000 rpm without causing problems to the valves.
With this map it is recommended to combine the Polini variator (241.737), which can also be mounted on the original engine. Thanks to the second step we go from 45 km\/h to 54\/55 km\/h.
Please note – To replace the springs it is necessary to disassemble the engine: with a small additional step in terms of costs it is possible to change directly to map 3, obtaining a more performing final result.

Map 3 – <\/strong>With the third step you achieve the maximum performance, at the basis of this step there is the 49 mm diameter cylinder kit which brings the engine to approximately 80 cc (140.0237) with the Polini long gears (202.1430) mandatory for an optimal result; with this map it is recommended to combine the Polini variator (241.737).
Map 3 allows you to increase the speed recorded on the odometer from 45 km\/h to over 70 km\/h.<\/p>\n

POLINI\u00a0GEARBOX FOR APRILIA SXR 50 4T E5<\/strong><\/p>\n

By equipping the Aprilia SXR 50 scooter with the Polini gear kit, it is easier to achieves the maximum speed with a 20% increase. The Polini gear box for Aprilia SXR 50 4T E5 is made with a ratio of 15\u201354, longer than the original one of 13-56. The material used for the gears is special steel which guarantees greater resistance to wear and stress.<\/p>\n
