Der neue C400 X vermittelt einen Hauch von Abenteuer \u2013 zumindest optisch.<\/p>\n<p>TEXT HANSPETER K\u00dcFFER FOTOS DANIEL KRAUS \/ ARNOLD DEBUS<\/p>\n<p>Nein, trotz Offroad-Look, wirklich gel\u00e4ndetauglich wie der Honda X-ADV ist der neue C400 X von BMW nicht. F\u00fcr Ausritte auf Schotter fehlen dem Mittelklasse-Scooter die entsprechenden Features. Grunds\u00e4tzlich zeigt sich der 350-ccm-Einzylinder von der sportlichen Seite. Leichte Vibrationen sind zwar da, aufgrund der Ausgleichswelle jedoch nie wirklich st\u00f6rend. Bez\u00fcglich Fahrstabilit\u00e4t ist der C400 X eine Klasse f\u00fcr sich. In diesem Bereich profitiert der neue Mittelklasse-Scooter vom Know-how der BMW-Motorrad-Konstrukteure. ABS und Stabilit\u00e4tskontrolle sind serienm\u00e4ssig an Bord. Selbst in ergonomischer Hinsicht passt (fast) alles. Einen flachen Durchstieg gibt es zwar nicht, doch die weitgehend aufrechte Sitzposition auf dem straff gepolsterten, abgestuften Sattel ist bequem, der Wetterschutz hinter der kleinen, nicht h\u00f6henverstellbaren Scheibe ausreichend. Lange Trittbretter erm\u00f6glichen unterschiedliche Fussstellungen. Einzig die Cruiser-typische Haltung mit nach vorne gereckten Beinen ist aufgrund der viel zu engen Aussparrungen leider nicht m\u00f6glich.<\/p>\n<p>Wie das gr\u00f6ssere Schwestermodell C650 Sport kann auch der C400 X mit einem Flex-Case aufwarten. Das im Stand unter der Sitzbank ausklappbare Staufach bietet zus\u00e4tzlich Platz f\u00fcr einen weiteren Integralhelm. Ein weiteres tolles Feature ist die optional erh\u00e4ltliche Connectivity, die M\u00f6glichkeit also, den Roller via App mit dem Smartphone zu koppeln. Inkludiert sind ein hochaufl\u00f6sendes TFT-Farbdisplay sowie ein Navi, das jedoch in der momentanen Version noch kein Routing mit Zwischenzielen erm\u00f6glicht. Bedient wird das Ganze mit dem bei verschiedenen Motorr\u00e4dern bew\u00e4hrten Multicontroller, einem Drehrad am linken Lenkergriff.<\/p>\n<p>Mit einem Preis von 7250 Franken ist der in China bei Hersteller Loncin gefertigte BMW C400 X kein Schn\u00e4ppchen, zumal die Version mit Connectivity weitere 700.\u2013 Franken kostet.
